Inspired by ideas and art of post-Soviet Union Russia, the Fontanka sports a modern combination of suedes and leathers on its upper. Smooth leather dominates the toe and mid-panel, leaving the remainder of the base to exhibit a pebbled leather build. Unique stitching throughout creates segmented profile Swooshes that are messily composed of both leather and suede. The unruly look continues with multi-layered lacestays and the exaggerated heel tab. While the entirety of the base is tinted in a vibrant Archeo Pink, the rubber sole unit opts for a simple white finish. A cassette tape of ultra-soft React foam in the heel adds a final, playful touch to the design that also alludes to the aforementioned European music scene.
